Believe it or not, at first I thought Sandile and all it's evolutions were wearing sunglasses, but it turns out, in sandiles Pokedex entry in White version, it says word for word,
"It moves along below the sand's surface, except for it's nose
and eyes. A dark membrane sheilds its eyes from the sun."
So that would explain the "sunglasses"
